ভারতের মহারাষ্ট্রের ঘটনা এটি। সকালের নাস্তা দিতে দেরি করায় রেগে পুত্রবধূকে গুলি করার অভিযোগ উঠেছে এক শ্বশুরের বিরুদ্ধে। বৃহস্পতিবার (১৪ এপ্রিল) সকালে এমন ঘটনা ঘটে বরে প্রতিবেদন প্রকাশ করেছে এনডিটিভি।
সংবাদমাধ্যমটি জানায়, ৪২ বছর বয়সী ওই পুত্রবধূর পেটে গুলি লেগেছে।
তিনি শহরের একটি হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন। অভিযুক্ত শ্বশুরের বয়স ৭৬ বছর। নাম কাশিনাথ পাণ্ডুরাং পাটিল। পুলিশ জানিয়েছে, অভিযুক্তের বিরুদ্ধে ভারতীয় দণ্ডবিধির ৩০৭ ধারা (খুনের চেষ্টা) ও ৫০৬ ধারায় (অপরাধমূলক ভয় দেখানো), পাশাপাশি অস্ত্র আইনে মামলা করা হয়েছে।
অভিযুক্তের আরেক পুত্রবধূর দায়ের করা মামলা সূত্র ও পুলিশ জানিয়েছে, বৃহস্পতিবার বেলা সাড়ে ১১টার দিকে ঘটনাটি ঘটে। এরপর পরিবারের অন্য সদস্যরা তাকে কাছের একটি হাসপাতালে নিয়ে যান। এ ঘটনায় ওই শ্বশুরকে গ্রেপ্তার সম্ভব হয়নি বলে জানিয়েছে পুলিশ। এ ঘটনার পেছনে কারও উসকানি রয়েছে কি না, তা খতিয়ে দেখা হচ্ছে।
